Take it from me, after having two maternity photoshoots of my own as well as capturing numerous others I know the ins and outs of what it takes, and I want to give you these tips so that you are the most prepared mama around.
Tip #1
Book your session between 30-36 weeks. If it is not your first pregnancy lean towards the earlier end.
Tip #2
Choose outfits that are comfortable, but still make you feel beautiful. There are lots of dress rental companies out there where you can get an epic dress without breaking the bank.
Tip #3
Get your hair and makeup professionally done. It takes one more thing off your plate, and you deserve to look beautiful. You may only have these type of photos done once, so go all out!
Tip #4
Choose a location that doesn’t require a ton of strenuous activity. Your body is already working overtime to create life, give it a break. Also who wants to be all sweaty for photos 😘

Print your photos! Whether you make an album at home or order one through my print shop, it’s worth it!
