Dark and Moody
Joey and Danelle had a big wedding planned for this year, but like many brides and grooms in 2020 COVID changed there plans, more than once. They ended up just deciding on a quick elopement at Grover Hot Springs and a FUN but small reception at a park in Markleeville, California and it was perfect! The ceremony got off to a bit of a late start so we didn't end up having time for bridal portraits before the sun went down, but Joey and Danelle were champs and agreed to meet me at Grover again a few days later to get their portraits done. I loved that this was not the typical white gown wedding, because Danelle's dress was TO. DIE. FOR! Another thing that they incorporated into their ceremony that was new to me was a whiskey ceremony where they joined two whiskeys into one cask, each one representing them.
